Robinson Ranch is up in Santa Clarita, east of I-5 on the Antelope Freeway. Two very good 18 hole courses here. The Mountain course plays to 6500 yards, 137 from the tips, and is a target, desert golf course, with more elevation change, and narrow fairways than the Valley. The Valley course is 6,903 yards, 149 slope from the tips, and is extremely challenging the longer you play it. It is one of the best in the LA area, and worth the 45 minute drive, of course depending on where you are. The routing is through hilly and rugged land, with water, lakes and waterfalls, plenty of sand, and is the ultimate in target golf, fair if you can keep it on target, very penal if not. Excellent conditioning, especially the greens, which are fast, sloping, and undulating.

Robinson Ranch has the best in So Cal. Bar none. Very challenging tract. Two courses, Valley and Mtn and Valley is far superior. The last six holes are aptly named "Death Valley."
