Riverview Golf Course

Riverview is 15 minutes west of Farmington in Kirtland just off US 64 to the north. It's a very scenic layout routed over somewhat hilly land above the San Juan River with nice views out over to the La Plata Mountains and Shiprock Monument. The course has been around since the late 1960's, and was designed by Baxter Spann. It's carved through the desert scrub, always a nice contrast between the fairways and the borders. Challenging course to keep it in the fairways, but recoverable if you're off in the natural areas. It's fairly long from the middle tees it's 6,500+ yards, 69.3/118. Rates are very reasonable, conditions average, basic clubhouse and restaurant. For golf in the Farmington area it Pinon Hills, Hidden Valley or Riverview.
