River Strand is an Arthur Hills design through a residential development, east of Bradenton, off I-75 at exit 220/SR 64, then east for half a mile. There's three nine hole courses here, the Estuary,Tributary and Sanctuary. The Estuary/Sanctuary from the Gold Tees is 7113 yards, rating 74.7 slope 140; the Tributary/Estuary, 6854 yards, rating 73.1 slope 135; the Sannctuary/Tributry, 6687 yards, rating 72.2 slope 135. The routing is through the community and along the Manatee River with tidal waters are incorporated on several of its holes. Beautiful clubhouse and practice area, except it has an aqua range, which I'm not much a fan of. It's one of the best golf course facilities in the Tampa-Sarasota area, I personally drive down from Tampa just to play here. Extremely well conditioned, very challenging, and a lot of variety to the hole design. .

Rolling fairways, challenging landing areas and vast open lakes make this new 27-hole entry a joy to play. Ripe for scoring, but still demanding; friendly staff and super practice areas.
