River Pines is east of 400 off Exit 7A on Old Alabama Road. The course was designed by Denis Griffiths and plays to 6602 yards from the back tees, 132 slope. Traditional type of course with tree lined fairways, ponds, ravines, creeks lining the holes on somewhat rolling land. Also has a nine-hole, par-3 layout, and a great practice range. Good collection of stout par 4's, and a couple of reachable par 5's. Nice course, well maintained, a little expensive, but given the area, probably in line with the other courses.
