River Oaks is off I-15 at 9000 south to the west, and left on Riverside Drive. The course is a good solid muni, owned and operated by the city of Sandy, generally OK conditions but gets a lot of play, and always low rates. It's routed through a residential development, bottom land along the Jordan River, and wetlands. Some holes are wide open, others carved into the scrub oak and are tight. It was designed by William Neff, and from the back tees will play to 6,346 yards with a 131 slope and a 70.4 course rating. Not high end by any stretch, good basic golf, and quite a test.
