River Bend is on the Snake River about an hour west of Boise in Wilder. The course is somewhat new, routed over flat river bottom land and plays to 6,432 yards, 69.4/113 from the tips, and was designed by Joe Bideganeta, It's mostly an open layout with newly planted trees, and four holes on the Snake.Nice setting for the course, it's always in good shape, and the rates are low.Nice views of the Owyhee Mountain Range throughout the course. .The most unique hole, maybe the signature hole is the "Silo Hole", the 4th where there's a silo next to the green. i

What a Golf Course, and an absolute bargain and worth the 90 mile round trip we made. The greens are by far some of the best I have played on not only this year but previous years. Each hole is different and give a challenge, some testing par 3's. Clubhouse is very nice n roomy with cheap drinks. All in all a brill course that one of my party wanted to go back the next day! I shall return even though a 45 mile trip to get there but the green fees and greens makes it all worth while.
