Pinehills' first course was designed by Rees Jones, and is located in Plymouth, 30 miles southeast of Boston. This 36 hole golf course and real estate development is one of the top courses in the state you can play. The course is routed through the rolling sand dunes of the "pinehills" of the area close to the Atlantic. The course plays to 7,175 yards, 73.8 handicap and 135 slope from the back tees. There's good elevation change here, a few forced carries over natural ravines, plenty of sugar white sand bunkers protecting the fairways and greens, and large and undulating greens.

We played the Jones at Pinehills yesterday, and it was an absolutely fantastic course. Anyone in this area must play it. Lovely layout, awesome club house and restaurant as well. Nice driving range (far better than average). Just a great round of golf. Several elevated tee boxes made for some interesting driving. Great golf course and I was totally surprised with the shape that it was in for the time of year, and the condition of most other courses.

Played the Jones Course and Pine Hills in Plymouth. $75 at 2pm. Pretty good course which played pretty tough in the winds last weekend. Really good par 3's, one which features a 250 yard carry over a nasty gully.
