Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course

Red Lodge Mountain is a ski and summer resort area, 1 1/2 hours southwest of Billings in the Beartooth Mountains. The golf course sits at 5,500 feet in elevation, parkland style of layout with streams and lakes, good rolling topography, tree lined fairways, and beautiful views of the Beartooth Mountains, which go on forever. The course can play as long as 6,400 yards or down to around 5,000 yards, all made shorter by the elevation here. It was built in the 1980's, and designed by Bob Baldock, very reasonable rates, a walkable course if you're in decent shape.
