Red Apple Inn golf course is north of Little Rock just over an hour and west of Heber Springs on Greers Ferry Lake. Enjoyable layout on a peninsula surrounded by the lake in the foothills of the Ozarks. It was designed by Gary Panks and is 6,431 yards from the back tees, par 71 with a 128 slope, with two shorter tee boxes. Very scenic course and layout, tree lined fairway corridors, very well maintained, not overly difficult, but still challenging. The fairways are hilly, it's lightly bunkered, and the greens are small to mid-sized with good roll. Great clubhouse, the inn and restaurant were designed by E. Fay Jones, a Frank Lloyd Wright protege.
