A classic old course designed by Alex Findlay in 1923, and playing to 6,620 from the back tees, par 71. It's located on the east side of Reading about 40 minutes from the King of Prussia area. It had been a private country club for most of its existence, in fact was home to some PGA Tour events, and even Byron Nelson was once the head pro here. After a number of failures, Exeter Township purchase the course in 2006, and it's now open to the public. It's reasonably priced, kept in good condition, but plays slow due to all the public play. The course is short, but a shotmaker's track with tree lined fairways bunkers, and hazards to contend with. Always fun to play, unless you tend to spray the ball.
