The course is routed over hilly land, has water on eight holes, sloping fairways and greens, and numerous bunkers. It was the Pittsburgh home of the Hogan Tours, and US Open and Amateur qualifiers. The course was redesigned in 1990 by Bob Murphy and Sean Parees, It plays to 7083 yards from the tips, 75.7 handicap, and 145 slope, and is a real challenge.

Quicksilver is a good course with some challenging greens and holes that force you to play a specific shot from the tees. It becomes over-run with jeans-wearing hackers and you're guaranteed to be in for a 6 hour round.
