Quail Ridge Country Club in Acton, MA at the corner of Route 2A and Route 27 near Boston. It had been a private, members only course, but is now open to the public as well. The course is parkland style, designed by Mark Mungeam and routed through the pine trees and hardwood forest and bordered by conservation land and water, each hole isolated and quiet. It's a definite shotmaker's type of course which not only requires accuracy, but distance, depending on the tees you select. A good amount of risk/reward, while nice hole variety and angles to the hole. Some holes favor a fade, while others a draw. Nice elevation change, a good amount of water in play, tree lined fairways and wetland, all the trouble you'll need! From the Black tees, it's 138 slope, 73.8 course rating, and 6,312 yards, with four other sets of tees.
