The Pueblo de Cochiti Golf Course, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1981 and once again in 2000. It's located in the foothills of the Jemez Mountains and is 50 minutes north of Albuquerque and 40 minutes southwest of Santa Fe, An isolated mountain/desert/parkland style course that's a true hidden gem among New Mexico courses at a very reasonable greens fee. It's challenging course at 6,817 yards from the back tees with a 132 slope with bunkers mostly around the greens, water on three holes, and narrow tree lined fairways with elevation changes, some fairly significant, and the isolated environment and views...just a fantastic experience for the value.
