Located in the Rogers, Bentonville area of northwest Arkansas, the course was designed by Joe Saunders and is 6574 yards and 129 slope from the rear tees. The course is routed on a ridge of the Ozarks for the front nine, and then runs into the valley along the back. The greens are small, there's not much sand, but a few water holes, and the layout's fairways are mostly tree lined. Decent course, great rate.

Played Prairie and Big Sugar this week while in NW Arkansas. Preferred Big Sugar, but Prairie was decent course, with a nice setting, at low greens fees. The greens were very slow, it looks like they're letting them grow long for some reason, but otherwise, the course was in good shape. Played during the week and it wasn't real busy, so we play in just over 4 hours.
