Next door to Portmarnock is the Hotel and Golf Links developed by the Jameson whiskey family on linksland designed by Bernhard Langer in 1995. It's becoming a great course with continuing design improvements and enhancements, and is well regarded in the area. It's classic links with a natural feel, even though a lot of dirt was pushed around here, and can play as long as 6,850 yards. The fairways are quite more undulating than Portmarnock next door and, they used the dunes and natural terrain to route the course perfectly. There's elevated tees and greens, blind approaches and doglegs, constant wind, leading to large fast greens. There are 98 bunkers, while hillocks, wild grasses and gorse await off the fairways. Well conditioned, and wonderful service in the Club.

Tight fairways, tricky doglegs, one of the more narrow and constricting courses we've played here, major bunkers, and very well conditioned, with fast greens, and plenty of wind and seaside views. It was very close and convenient to playing on our last day due to its proximity to the airport. A little on the expensive side though, as most are in the Dublin area, Extremely challenging overall, you'll be well tested here.
