Poppy Hills Golf Course
Poppy Hills has been one of the PGA Tour's Pebble Beach Pro Am's courses in February, and is routed through Del Monte Forest. The course is owned and operated by the Northern California Golf Association, and is a scenic and challenging course always in great condition. I believe it tops our Spanish Bay or Spyglass for conditions, layout quality, view and price. The course routing is parkland like with tight fairways, small, elevated, and quick greens, with a good amount of bunkering, a lot of water throughout the course. .The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr in 1984 and can play to 6800+ yards and 144 slope from the back tees.
