The Plantation Course was the first course at Reynolds Plantation, and opened in 1988. It's not the top course here, like either Oconee or Great Waters, but if you're here a few days it's definitely worth playing. It was designed by Bob Cupp, and from the black tees is 6,698-yard, par-72, 72.3 course rating, he was also "assisted" by Fuzzy Zoeller and Hubert Green, but I imagine Cupp did most of the work. The course is hilly with sloping fairways, elevated greens and tees, with most fairways tree lined, 13 holes with water, and a minimal amount of bunkering. It's the more forgiving of the courses here, just as well conditioned as the rest, and has a few superb holes along the lake 8-10.
