Pinon Hills is a city owned course located at 5900 feet above sea level on the Western Colorado Plateau. The course was designed by Ken Dye in 1990, and measures 7249 from the blue tees, with a handicap rating of 74.3, and a slope of 143. There are plenty of carries over sandstone canyons and long arroyos elevated tees, bunkers, and framed by the high desert terrain. The course has significant elevation change, is always in good condition, and is a well regarded course in the state.
