Piney Apple Golf Course is about an hour southwest of Harrisburg in Biglersville. It's pure golf, no houses or development surrounding the golf course only, tall pine trees lining the fairways surrounded by orchards, blooming in the Spring, picking apples in the Fall. It's short course at 5,600 yards, 66.6/11 ratings, designed by L. Walter Hayes, but tight and requiring good course management to score well, which I don't posses. While the course was in good condition, the views from the several different points of elevation are stunning of the countryside and the Allegheny Mountains. There's a few holes here where the driver comes in handy if you can keep it in play, you're rewarded, other holes you might be better off with a hybrid. Course was in good shape, rates were very reasonable, don't expect an upscale experience though, just kind of a laid back environment and clubhouse in a beautiful setting.

This is an AWESOME golf course. It's only gotten better since I last played it! This course is MUCH too good to be a public golf course! Don't miss it!
