Pinewood Country Club

6,231 yards from the blue tees, 123 slope, designed Al and Marie Bromann, Jr. in the 1960's. Pure Northwoods type golf course and experience, laid back environment, the golf course is always in good shape, low rates, and generally not too crowded. It's about 30 minutes north of Tomahawk, and 20 minutes northwest of Rhinelander. The front side's just a warm up for the 600 yard longer back side which is mostly carved through the woods. Fun golf course, a lot of opportunities to score well, and just about as many to loose a stroke or two. Nice setting for the course, and a nice change of pace.
