Tucked away in a gently rolling patch of pine woodland terrain, Pineview Golf Course was designed by Harley Hodges and built in 1989. From the tips the course measures 6,490 yards (71.6/126). There are three alternate sets of tees for the higher handicappers. The front nine is generally more open than the tree lined back. Other than one pond on #9, there are no water hazards with which to contend. There are a few sand bunkers so the primary obstacle to par are the tree-lined fairways - especially on the back nine. A straight tee ball will keep one out of trouble. Located off I-94 (Huron Street exit - south), the course is easy to access. Adjacent to the main course is a 9-hole executive course (Little Pine 9). It will give one a good iron-play workout.
