This little course was designed by J. Morris Wilson and opened in 1984. At 6,020 yards from the tips, no one is going to mistake Pine Hollow for Beth Page Black. However, the course has enough pine trees to require a straight drive, so don't let the statistics fool you. As a non-GAM member, there is no available rating or slope.
The course winds its way through second growth pine forest. There is not much elevation change and the track can be easily walked. Minimal bunkering and limited hazards make the course novice friendly. Greens tend to be small and not that punitive as far as contours.
The course is accessed from I-94. Take exit 145 (Sargent Road) just eask of Jackson, MI

Decent shape, not spectacular, but good, fun layout. Only problem too much $$ for a 5+ hour round. I wasn't paying attention to when our tee-time was, yeah only 4 hours. Isn't wasn't as slow time wise as it felt on the back nine. Front nine was excellent speed. Back nine really slowed down. That might be because of the layout, there are some really tough holes on the back. Nothing to wow me back, but a very nice track. If I lived closer I would play it more for sure.
