Pine Forest GC

20 miles east of Austin, TX in the Lost Pines area of Texas. Course has a lot of hills with greens that require careful reading. Some houses on course, but not right up against the fairways. Lots of trees, some water. Very scenic with wildlife on the course, good elevation change. Several holes run alongside the Colorado River, but it is really not in play Fun course to play, but not particularly easy from the white and blue tees. Par 3's are some of the hardest around. The course was designed by Don January and Billy Martindale in 1979,and from the tips is 6,569 yards, 71.8/132.
