The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and plays to 7,204 yards, 74.3/146 from the tips, and is a difficult layout overall, but not as tough as the Stadium course. It's a desert/parkland style of course, mostly wide open off the tee, water in play on at least half the holes, and plenty of sand, bordered by the natural desert and foothills. The course has a little of everything, split fairways, a couple of island greens, waste bunkers galore, dog legs, elevated greens and tees, forced carries, very challenging, beautiful scenery. We found it to be in excellent condition, service was over the top, a little pricey, but an excellent experience overall.
