7100 yards from the tips, 139 slope, the last course to be built at PGA West, it was designed by Greg Norman, and is classic desert golf, and extremely challenging so pick your tee box correctly. The course is on rolling and undulating land with the fairways bordered by the natural desert areas, there's no rough! There's some forced carries over the desert areas, and water's in play on eight holes at least. The course is heavily bunkered, especially the back side, the greens well protected throughout either by the bunkers, the waste areas, or high native grasses. It really helps to play with someone who knows the course, and definitely buy a yardage book as the landing areas are a bit deceiving off the tee. It's a beautiful setting for a course with the Santa Rosa mountains forming a lot of the background for the holes. If you're playing the Stadium course for it's name, play the Norman course for the best layout here.

Great shape this week, low rates as well, one of the best courses in the area.

The best course in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area, nicely conditioned, great service and pace of play, challenging, but not penal. Fun to play
