Pevely Farms is out in Eureka, about 30 minutes west of St Louis on I-44 at exit 266, then north. The course was built on a former daily farm, in the Meramec River valley. It's a hilly course with tree lined fairways, some more open than others. Hardly able to find a level lie here, which makes it more challenging than it already is. It was designed by Arthur Hills, and from the back tees is 7,088 yards, 132 slope and 74.2 course rating. As with all Walters run courses around town, if you sign up for their email specials you can get a deal here. The course has it all, water in the form of creeks and lakes, OB, sand, trees, elevation change, and is usually in very good shape with zoysia fairways and bent grass greens.

Pevely is the best golf course on the west side of St Louis, reasonably priced, course was in great shape this week, rates after 2 pm were reduced, and we played in less than 4 hours, what more could you want?
