Peraleja is between Alicante and and Cartagena, in and southeast of Murcia in Sucina, a small inland Costa Blanca community in Southern Spain. The course is somewhat new to the other golf resorts in Murcia, and was designed by Seve Ballesteros, and from the back tees, can play to around 6700 yards. Challenging and interesting golf course, every hole has a different twist to it, and always keeps you on your toes. Dogleg holes, water, sand, course management and placement off the tee is critical in order to score. The greens are well guarded, and on the large side, There's some neat short par fours where there's the possibility to drive the hole with the right combination of wind and bounce, and the par threes are not all that long, but not much in the way of bail out areas. The par 5's are all around 500 yards, and present nice risk/reward opportunities. In all honesty there really is not a bad hole on this golf course although I believe that it is better suited to the lower handicap players who will be more up to the ‘challenge’
