Pennyrile Forest State Park Golf Course is 1 1/2 hours south of Evansville, 2 hours northwest of Nashville, near the eastern side of the Land Between the Lakes area. The front side is mostly flat with a creek running through the middle and water comes into play on every hole of the front nine, while the newer back side is more over rolling hills and pine tree lined fairways. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,129 yards, 71.8/135 ratings, and was designed by Larry Packard. Extremely challenging course, especially the back side with the hills and trees, conditions were just OK, seemed a bit dry, the greens were hard and fast. Would play again if in this area again.

The course is in great condition. The best part has to be the greens. They are running fast and true. There is absolutely nothing to complain about at this course right now.
