Pembroke Lakes is west of Hollywood in Pembroke Pines, off I-95 at Hollywood then west, or the Turnpike off Pines, then East. It's a muni owned by the town of Pembroke Pines, but feels a little more upscale than your usual muni. It's reasonably priced to play in the season, but it does get a lot of play. The course was originally designed by John Watson, and redesigned by John Sanford recently, and it's generally in excellent condition. There's water in play throughout, almost every hole, well bunkered, and plays to 6,815 yards from the golf tees, 72.5/130 ratings.
