An old classic parkland style course near Broomall, short at 5700 yards, 122 slope from the back tees, but you won't overpower the course with your driver. The course has been around since 1927, designed by Francis Warner, not known as a golf course architect, and Franklin Meehan, but the routing in play today is vastly different than what they originally built, particularly on the back nine. The course was was an exclusive private club for a number of years, but is now open to the public. The course has a mix of tree lined holes and some more open, doglegs where you can cut the corner, moderately bunkered, playing to small greens with moderate speed. It's maintained well, interesting and challenging to score well here, my only complaint would be the pace of play.

A classic old course, ruined over the years from the original design, but still a lot of fun to play. Conditions were excellent this week, in spite of the recent weather, pace of play was a little slow at just over 5 hours, but an enjoyable round nonetheless.
