Palm Beach Gardens Golf Club is a muni, operated by the City of Palm Beach Gardens. It's west of I-95 and the Florida Turnpike off Northlake Blvd. It's one of my favorite golf courses in the area for a number of reasons. The rates are very fair, usually under $50 in the season, the course is well maintained, the layout is fun and varied with both links-style holes and parkland with tree lined fairways. There's no housing in play or lining the golf course, just golf, and the facilities are simple and well cared for. Service is good, and the folks in the golf shop and out on the course treat you with respect. It's challenging with narrow fairways, so sometimes the driver's not the best club to play off the tee. The golf course opened in the early 1990's, and was designed by Roy Case, playing to 6,358 yards from the rear tees, 70.2 course rating, and a 128 slope.
