Olympia Country Club has been a private course for years, but has opened to limited public play, and the rates are fairly reasonable. It's located on the northwest side of Olympia off Cooper Point Road. Nice private club feel to the course and the clubhouse, and very well conditioned layout. The course is routed over fairly level land overlooking the Puget Sound at the Budd Inlet with great views of Mount Rainier with evergreen tree lined fairways. The course has been around since the 1920's, designed by William Tucker, and is not all that long at 6,100 yards from the tips, par 71, 71.5/124, and is a challenge if you can't keep your tee ball in play with the tight fairways, and smallish greens.
