Olive Glenn Golf & Country Club is on the southwest side of Cody, and is the best golf course in town, that's mostly because it's the only golf course in town. Seriously though, it's a good solid traditional style of layout, tree lined fairways, and a semi-private club, open to the public. It's routed through the valley of Cody with some nice views of the Rockies throughout the course. Good conditions, reasonable rates, a nice stop off on the way to Yellowstone. The layout has been around since the 1970s, and was designed by Bob Baldock, who's done a lot of golf courses in the western U.S.It's can play to almost 6,900 yards, with a par of 72, and a 71.6 course rating and 124 slope, but has three shorter sets of tees. We play the course every summer on the way out west and the way back to Rapid City. Enjoyable, and a great reception in the clubhouse, very welcoming.

Small sections of greens and a few fairways had recent aeration. Fairways were fairly wide for a tree-lined course with tricky greens. Nice layout, overall, a enjoyable day
