Old Greenwood Golf Club
The course is near Truckee just off I-80 in a real estate development, but is open for public play. A Nicklaus design of 7500+ yards through tree lined and hilly terrain, very challenging and interesting design. Wide open landing areas, but very challenging on approach to the green. Very well maintained course, one of the better upscale daily fee courses in the area that will likely close to the public as the housing development fills up. Greens fees are expensive, but they do have off peak rates.

A very relaxing experience. Not too hard not too easy. Risk and reward type of golf that is forgiving yet challenging. The cart lady was there evey couple of holes to make sure we were taken care of. Driving range had Titleist range balls, which was nice. Great service. I will be back for sure !! Flag Content
