Oakview Golf Club

Oakview is 20 minutes north of Butler on the south side of Slippery Rock off William Flynn Highway, about 15 minutes off I-79 if you're just passing through the area. It's a decent layout for the most part, save for a few boring holes. Conditions can be so-so at times, and rates are high for the quality of the golf course and facilities, plus there's no off-peak or lower rates available. A little stuffy in the golf shop, pace of play was 4 hours during the week. Stoughton Acres in Butler is a much better course, but if you're in Slippery Rock, this is the only choice for public 18 hole golf.
