Oak Tree Country Club

Oak Tree is a private club, but is open for public play, a little expensive for the area, especially on the weekend, but a very well maintained course that maybe the rates keep out the poorer players. It's in the Warren/Youngstown/Sharon area just south of Sharon off I-80. The course opened in 1967, was designed by Ed Ault, and is 6563 yards from the back tees, 139 slope. It's a classic, old parkland style of course that required good course management with water that comes into play on seven holes, large undulating and fast greens, and tree lined rolling fairways with nice elevation change, and of course the
covered bridge on the 8th hole.
