Oak Ridge is 45 minutes south of Madison and just on the north side of Janesville. It's a reasonably priced, parkland style of layout with tree lined fairways, well out in the country. There's a total of 27 holes here with the adjoining Bonny Meade course, but the Oak Ridge championship course is the one to play, unless you only have time for 9 holes. The layout is a little rough around the edges, and just basic public golf at a reasonable rate. There's scattered trees lining the fairways, mostly recoverable if you're wild off the tee, It's a short and playable course at 6,000 yards from the tips, 68.3/112, par 70, with two par 5's which are drivable in two. A lot of birdie opportunities here if you can keep it in the fairways.
