Oak Harbor's on the east side of Lake Pontchartrain in Slidell, off exit 261 off I-10. It's routed through a residential community, mostly flat, with little in the way of trees, and can be windy with the breeze from the Lake. It's kind of a links type of layout, 6,885 yards, 132 slope from the tips, with water in play on 14 of the holes, and was designed by Lee Schmidt. One of the better courses on this side of New Orleans, but the greens fees are expensive.

The guest service was lacking, the course wasn't in that good of shape for the rates we were paying, will probably try somewhere else before I go back here again. It indicated it was Golf Digest rated, but sure didn't rate with us.
