Oak Brook is a muni, run by the city of Oak Brook. It's located right next door to Butler national, off Cermak, west of the Tri-State, and just south of the East/West-I-88, exit at 22nd St. Traditional style of course with water in play on eight of the holes, either streams or lakes, the course plays to 6,500 yards from the back tees, 126 slope and 71.1 course rating, and was designed by Roger Packard in 1980. Except for the slow play, it was a good experience, challenging course, well maintained, interesting and a variety of holes, and the rates were the lowest we could find in the area.

This course is a sneaky, tricky course. There are a few blind shots but the thing that makes it tricky are the greens. Very small and slick make for a tough but fun round. Course is in great shape.
