Located just off the I-5 between Seattle and Vancouver, CA, the course opened in 1995, was designed by Ted Locke, and plays to 6,812 yards, 126 slope. Most courses in this area have trees lining every fairway, this course wide-open, links style layout, which includes tall, native grass lining most holes waiting to bury errant shots. Wind is a factor on every round with no trees or hills to break up a breeze, so the course provides a lot of opportunity for thought on club selection. Being open here offers some great views of the San Juan Islands and Mount Baker. The course was in reasonably good condition, just busy..our round took almost 5 hours, but the price is reasonable.
