New Richmond Golf Links is in northwest Wisconsin, just northeast of the Twin Cities. Always in great shape, reasonable rates, and challenging, shotmaker's type of course with tight tree lined fairways. From the back tees it's 6,713 yards, 136 slope and has three other sets of tees. There's 27 holes here, the Old, and the newer Links course, the Old is my favorite, and well worth the 40 minute drive over from St Paul. The Old was actually built in the 1920's, and were designed and redesigned at different times later by Don Herfort and Joel Goldstrand.

Great course in great shape. My neighbor gave me a free pass to boot. I am going to make it out to Big Fish Golf Club this summer about an hour away or so but a great Pete Dye for 32 bucks. Erin Hills is 4 hours but at 250 greens fees,50 dollar caddie fee and 40 minimum caddie tip ,not so much this time.
