Myrtle Creek is between Eugene and Medford, just off I-5 in Myrtle Creek. The course is 6,852 yards from the black tees, 72.7/139 ratings down to 4,891 yards from the shortest tees, and was designed by Graham Cooke in the late 1990's. Nice hilly golf course in the Umpqua Valley, plenty of elevation change, nice views throughout the course, reasonably good condition, and low rates. Challenging layout, especially with the hilly and sloping fairways, mostly open, some water and sand in play, and mid-sized greens, one of the better courses in the area. Close to the Seven Feathers Casino.

I played golf yesterday at the Myrtle Creek G.C. about 10 miles north of here in the town of Myrtle Creek. The course was in wonderful condition and there is lots of elevation change on literally every hole. I joined up with a fellow from Seattle. who was staying at the nearby 7 Feathers and we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful day. I was able to make one birdie, #17 a 170 yard par 3 where I hit it about 8 inches from the hole, probably any further away and I would have missed it as my putting was less than stellar today.
