Myakka Pines is in Englewood, south of Venice and north of Port Charlotte near the Myakka State Forest and has 27 holes in three different nines, the Red, White and Blue. Well designed Florida courses with water, wetlands, and sand, but no houses! A real treat to play without housing lining the fairways. All three courses were designed by Lane Marshall, and are forgiving off the tee and around the greens, but with water on 21 holes. The greens tend to be a bit elevated, mid-sized, with good movement and speed. Each nine hole course has its own character, and plays to around 3300 yards from the back tees with three sets of tees. Well conditioned, and good rates, average pace of play. Enjoyable experience.

Awesome golf course! Great shape! I bet I've played out there at least 15 times in the past year, and each time the service has been great. Not to mention, they just put new greens in that are immaculate. I love Myakka, and they will continue to earn my business every time I'm in the area!

This course is always in great shape and several years ago was named the #1 course in the county. Never crowded...keep it in the fairway...rough is deep.
