The course is off the I-15 at Rancho Bernardo Blvd, and is a great and unique golf course designed by Lee Schmidt. The course is situated below Mount Woodson and was a former estate was turned into a golf course in 1991. It's a tough, 5,830-yard, par-70 course, kind of a parkland type of course with fairways bordered by giant boulders, mature oaks and eucalyptus stands. Each hole was named for it's character, with Razor's Edge, Ledges, Drop Off, The Chute, Tree Tops, The Plunge, all appropriate for the type of neat holes you'll find here. There's every type of hazard in play here, water, trees, ravines, slope, and sand, and is a real target-style course set in the Ramona Valley. There's a 450-foot wooden bridge that winds through the treetops and adds to the unique experience here.
