Thomas McBroom designed course in South Surrey, about 45 minutes south of Vancouver, off exit 8, and 20 minutes north of the US border. The course is routed through a housing development with half of the holes bordering homes, the others more open. The course was in great shape; tee boxes well manicured, greens rolling at about 11 on the stimpmeter, fairways very closely mowed. Extremely well maintained, interesting and diverse layout. The service in the clubhouse, quality of the warm-up range, and frequency of the beverage cart visits were all excellent. The course was in great shape, and I'd gladly play it multiple times through the season and highly recommend a trip to Surrey for a game. The course plays to 6968 yards, 136 slope from the back tees, but has three other sets of tee boxes.
