The course is just south of Monroe below the Rt 74/601 intersection, 30 minutes south of Charlotte. It's an original Donald Ross course on the back nine holes, then the front nine by Tom Jackson in 1982. It's 6729 yards 129 slope from the blue tees. Public course, reasonably priced greens fees, parkland style with a lot of tree lined fairways on slightly rolling land. All of the par five's are reachable, and if you can keep out of the trees, you can score well here. The greens are on the small side, raised a bit, well bunkered, mostly around the greens. Fairly straightforward course with a couple of doglegs. Maintained well, fun to play.
