The course is in Ft. Myers, a few miles from I-75 at Exit 131 (Daniels Road). It can play to 7403 yards, 145 slope from all the way back, and was designed by Arthur Hills, and is part of an upscale housing development, and may be difficult to secure a tee time in season. Like all of Art Hills courses, it's very well designed and an interesting layout with extensive berming, lakes and mitigation areas, on fairly flat land. The greens are Tif-Eagle grass and provide good roll on mostly large, mildly undulating surfaces. The fairways are wide open, but well guarded, and without forced carries of any significance. Most of the greens are raised surfaces protected by flat sand bunkers with high grass walls. One thing to watch for here, unusual, are all the bunkers which seem to be located right in the middle of the fairway, a bit distracting. Overall, well conditioned course with excellent service in the clubhouse.

Played Miromar yesterday, twilight rates, no one on the course, guess the Gators were playing. It was a nice layout with very few trees, that needed some maturity. The live oak is one of my favorite trees, so if you have a golf course in the south, and I don't see any live oaks I'm disappointed. The course is also right next to the expressway, which provides a nice buffer for the condos and homes, but some holes are noisy. Overall, mostly typical Florida style layout, interesting holes, not just cut out of the development.
