Mill Creek is between Hillsborough and Burlington, off I-85 at the Mebane Oaks exit, then north a few miles. Very strong layout, the routing is more traditional with tree lined fairways, some with houses set back, others completely natural borders. It's a little expensive on the weekends, but during the week and off-peak there's more reasonable rates. Excellent design, high maintenance standards, and a very interesting and challenging set of holes. The course opened in 1995, designed by Brian Lussier, Gary Koch and Rick Robbins, There's four sets of tees from 4,800 yards to just over 7,000 yards, the White tees are plenty challenging for our group of 12 handicappers at 6,387 yards, 127/70.2. Would highly recommend playing Mill Creek if you're in the area.
