Meriwether National Golf Course

Meriwether National is on the west side of Portland in Hillsboro, off Tualatin Highway then to the south. The course has three nine hole regulation courses, the original 18 being the West and the North, the better of the three layouts, and the South which was added later. They also have a par 30 executive style course. 1789 yds. All three combos par-72 (approx. 6700 yards) Rating: 71.3 average of West/South/North, but the West/North is the more challenging of the layouts. It's a traditional style of layout with tree lined fairways over relatively level ground, a little water on the par 3's, light in the way of bunkering which is mostly around the greens. The South course is better for higher handicappers and beginners who have mastered the Executive course, mostly wide open off the tee, water on two holes, and bunkers only greenside. Good golf facility for working on your game, reasonably priced, usually in good shape.
