Marywood is 5 miles north of downtown Battle Creek on 6 mile Road, just north of Saint Marys Lake. It's a long time classic course in the Battle Creek, and used to be private for years, but is open to the public. It was designed in the 1920's by Maurice McCarthy, and is a traditional style of layout with tree lined fairways over rolling hills. From the tips the course can play to 6,631 yards, 73.0 course rating and a tough 132 slope. Its a very well maintained course. and can be difficult if you don't place your tee balls. Very well maintained course, scenic throughout, reasonably priced, and a true shot maker's layout.
